As of this year, Victoria Contra Dance is now an incorporated non-profit society! This opens up opportunities for us, and ensures the community can operate over the long term as members come and go.
Becoming a member costs $15 per year, which gives you the right to vote for our board of directors, and to attend the Annual General Meeting Dance and Potluck.
Our meeting will take place at Dan’s Hall on Sunday September 13th, at 5pm. Membership dues will be collected at the door.

5:30pm – Annual General Meeting
Our meeting will conform to Robert’s Rules of Order. The agenda for our meeting includes:

6:30pm – Dance and Workshop
If you’ve been to our Dan’s Hall callers workshops before, we’ll have a similar format. Various callers will have the chance to try calling and experiment with dances. Ben and Carlos have signed up, but if you’re interested in calling as well, please reply to let us know!
Location
Dan’s Hall is located at 1335 Roy Road. Parking space is limited, so please car pool or take alternative forms of transport if possible.
