Pride Lamp Dance!
We’re welcoming everyone to this special event! What makes this a Lamp Dance you ask?
To cozy up the atmosphere, we are asking everyone to bring warm tabletop or floor standing lamps. So, please bring your lamps and label them! If you’re bringing a lamp, please arrive around 6:30-6:45 so we can get them set up.
Warm LED lights are preferred. If it’s incandescent, let us know so we don’t blow a breaker.
Additionally, bringing extra extension cords and power strips (also labeled) would be helpful.
Meet our Talent!
Jesse Partridge started life as a fiddler, which led him to become a contra dancer, dance organizer, and dance caller. He teaches orchestra at the Olympia Waldorf School and fiddle lessons privately. Jesse can often be found at local contra dances throughout the Pacific Northwest as a musician, caller, or participant. He lives in Olympia with an orange tabby cat named Sunny.
